AFA Procedures
LESSONS
- Please escort children under 10 to their classrooms and pick them up promptly at the end of the lesson
- Please arrive on time
- Please do not bring a student or sibling who is sick
- Students should bring all materials necessary for instruction
- Lessons are instructional sessions that also include time for set-up, break down, and any questions or concerns you or your child
may have. Instructors will give regular feedback to help parents track student progress
PAYMENT
- The day and time slot purchased for your lessons will be yours until you give notice to the Academy of Fine Arts that you do not
wish to continue
- You will be responsible for payment for your time slot regardless of student attendance until you give notice to the Academy of
Fine Arts that you wish to discontinue
- Payment is for the upcoming month. Fees will be pro-rated if starting mid-month
- Checks should be made payable to the Academy of Fine Arts or “AFA”. We do not take credit cards
- Please give your payment to your teacher
- Payments are due on or before the first lesson of each month. Payments made after the 10th of the month will incur a $20.00 late
fee
- We reserve the right to refuse a lesson if we have not received payment
TUITION
• 30-minute private lessons $110 per month
• 45-minute private lessons $165 per month
• 60 minute private lessons $220 per month
• 45-minute semi-private lessons $97 per month
ABSENCES
- Please notify your teacher directly, as soon as possible, if you are going to be late or absent
- A lesson that has been paid for, but is cancelled due to teacher absence or Academy closure, will be credited to the student’s
account for the following month
- While attendance at every lesson is encouraged, please do not bring a student or sibling who is sick
SCHOOL CANCELLATIONS
- In the event of inclement weather, please check the AFA website, local news stations or websites, or AFA voicemail.
